A neurological evaluation can help the student acadeformically with an  IEP (Individualized Education Plan.) The IEP describes goals the  parent and school team sets for a child during the school year, as well as any special support needed to help acheive them.

IEP provides for specialized instructions for students in grades K-12

A psychoneurological Evaluation may helpqualify students for a 504 Plan, for accommodations, that can provide extended time or small group administration for statewide testing, frequent breaks, fidgets, or modified homework assignments depending on a diagnosis of physical or emotional disability, or impairment (e.g., ADHD) that restricts one or more life activities (e.g., attention, class participation). Specific criteria must be met to qualify.
